Our laboratory is studying emerging energy topics related to the power generation energy system. The major research area are CO2 utilization and conversion technologies including electrochemical CO2 reduction for H2 production, liquid CO2 drying and subsequent combustion of coal, and supercritical behavior of CO2-O2 mixture.
We are also specialized on characterizing solid fuels abundant worldwide and their mixture with electrolyte and CO 2. To evaluate how such fuels would affect thermal and electrochemical performances of the energy system, we are performing theoretical analysis, experiment and numerical simulation extensively.
